Thank You For A Wonderful Conference!

The 2025 Minneapolis Conference was a true success, and it wouldn’t have been possible without each and every one of you. It was a joyful, unforgettable experience filled with beautiful memories. Our Cockayne Syndrome and Trichothiodystrophy community feels more connected than ever, and seeing everyone come together was a powerful reminder of why we do this work.

We are deeply grateful to our Share & Care families for traveling to Minneapolis and bringing your stories, enthusiasm, strength, and kindness. Your participation in sessions, studies, and conversations was inspiring. You are the heart of this work, and your dedication makes ongoing research and progress possible.

We also want to thank our volunteers, from local businesses that donated their time to the parents, friends, caretakers, and travel companions who supported families throughout the event. You are the village that made this gathering possible, and your contributions and sacrifices mean the world to us.

Our gratitude extends to the doctors and researchers who led engaging sessions and brought their commitment, expertise, and genuine care to our community. Your dedication is improving lives, and we are so thankful for the time and passion you share with us.

Finally, we wish to thank the Luke O’Brien Foundation for their generosity in funding this year’s conference and making it possible. We are already looking forward to next year, so keep an eye out for announcements. Until then, thank you for being part of something truly special.

See you soon,

Jackie

"For nearly two decades, Share and Care has been a valuable partner in my journey to understand Cockayne syndrome better, help improve care, and help develop new therapies. Their patient conferences provide fantastic opportunities for patients and families to mix with health care professionals and scientists so that we can all work together for the benefit of patients with Cockayne syndrome."
